The first time you open the DNA Branch app, you will receive an information box. Click the Done Button to move to the next step, which is to sign in.

There is a navigation bar across the top of the app which has 3 buttons:

• About
• Settings
• Account

About

The About menu has two options:

• About: shows the information box you saw when you first opened the app
• Help: opens this help

Settings

The Settings menu allows you to change the color theme for the app and/or use dark mode.

Account

The Account menu has two options:

• Sign out: sign out of your Ancestry account so you can sign in with another account
• Delete all data: signs out and deletes all data returning you to where you were when you first ran the app

Sign In

The first step is to sign in using your Ancestry username and password. DNA Branch uses this to authenticate with Ancestry to download the required data.
